About
25 years turning strategy into results.

Katharine Chajka is an enterprise transformation executive and Fractional Chief Operations & Transformation Officer with 25 years of experience turning strategy into measurable results — in 90 days or less.
After 25 years leading transformation inside the world's most complex organizations — from Lockheed Martin's safety-critical defense programs, to TIAA's 10,000-person technology division, to guiding Fortune 100–500 clients globally at Planview — Katharine founded Chajka Enterprises in 2025 to bring that same depth of execution to founders and mid-market leaders who need it most.
She has directed Agile, Lean, and Flow-based transformation for organizations across financial services, insurance, automotive, travel, semiconductor, and defense. She authored the Flow Methodology now used globally, and has trained thousands of employees at every level — from engineers to C-suite executives — in SAFe, Lean, OKRs, and modern product practices.
Her career began in safety-critical software and systems at Lockheed Martin, where she was among the first to introduce Lean-Agile practices to defense programs — years before the industry recognized what she was doing. That technical depth, combined with 25 years of transformation leadership, gives her an unusual ability to operate credibly from the engineering floor to the boardroom.
Katharine is an adjunct professor at Syracuse University (Graduate & Undergraduate Agile Project Management), a speaker at QCon New York, and the author of Aligned & Dangerous, a Substack publication on AI, leadership, and organizational transformation.

Katharine also trains wild Mustangs from the Bureau of Land Management on her small farm in Camillus, NY — using natural horsemanship, not force. She didn't plan on it. One walked up to her at Cornell and apparently decided.
The parallel to organizational change isn't lost on her: the fastest, most durable transformation happens when you meet people where they are, treat them as intelligent, and lead with respect rather than pressure.
Let's talk.
A 20-minute conversation to see if there's a fit. No pressure — just an honest discussion about what you're facing.
